For those of you with a sweet tooth, the KOA’s “Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Social” in Sophie’s Kitchen provides a dish of the summer favorite every night, and the next morning wake up for their “All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast.” ($2.75)

The WaKeeney KOA hasn’t forgotten the four-legged family members traveling with you! Over the past year, owners Mark, Deb and their Yorkshire Terrier, Sophie, have added an on-site, fenced dog park on a partially shaded patch of grass. There’s plenty of room to run and it’s quickly become a favorite place for our guests’ to play with their pets each evening.
